Morris Brown & Sons Company Limited was founded in August of 1957 by Mr. Morris Brown, Harold Brown and Sonny Goldfarb.  Since then we have expanded from dealing exclusively with tomatoes to a company that buys and sells a wide variety of fresh fruit from Canada, U.S. and abroad.

We are located inside the "Ontario Food Terminal" (OFT) which serves over 10 million people per year. Produce sold in the Terminal has remained steady at 868,000 tons per month. There are more than 294,735 buyers registered with the OFT Board. Buyers come from all over Ontario, they travel from as far west as Sarnia, east to Kingston, south to Fort Erie and as far north as Timmins. Over one million vehicles a year pass through the Terminal front gates. Trucks bring in produce from every growing region across North America, as well as all seaports. The Ontario Food Terminal is basically a central marketplace for Ontario growers and produce wholesalers.

We are members of the TWPA (Toronto Wholesalers Produce Association), OPMA (Ontario Produce Marketing Association), CPMA (Canadian Produce Marketing Association) which is responsible for over 90% of the fresh produce sold in Canada and are also listed in the Red and Blue Books. Our Agriculture Canada License number is 0271, which can be found in the Blue Book. Also in the Red Book we have been awarded the BCA (Business Character Award) this logo and plaque is awarded annually without charge to members that establish and maintain a reputation of high ethical trading practices, business competence and financial stability.

Currently, Morris Brown & Sons Company Limited is owned and operated by Lorie Goldfarb, Anthony Badali (Vice Presidents) and Angelo Nicastro (Operations Manager).  Morris Brown & Sons prides itself in produce quality and personalized customer service.
